Three graduates of HISP and UC Berkeley have been chosen by Teach for America, a national corps of top recent college graduates who commit 2 years to teach in urban and rural public schools. Only 20 percent of TFA's 25,000 applicants were accepted for 2008.

HISP has only one fundraising effort each year.

We appeal to parents to help fund enrichment of the HISP program by simply giving a donation. Please read a letter from the HISP Council President with details of the budget here

The HISP council has a "HISP Friends" email list. We use it to send regular messages of interest to HISP parents, students and prospective families.
