Modern Economics
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of individual and firm (micro), as well as those concepts that relate to the economy as a whole (macro), and to international economic issues. Upon successful completion of this course, students should understand the basic economic terms, the tools of analysis, such as graph, charts, statistics, and case studies. Students should also be able to use a reasoned approach to economic decision making. A selected portion of this course will emphasize consumer and personal economic decisions.
